MacOSX: best of both worlds
I'm a fan of the open source development- en businessmodel? As a consumer I would be free to free open source programs on my computer to install. As a business user I know what I bought and I would not depend on a handful of service providers on my platform and allowed to work. Apple MacOSX has the best able to unite two worlds. Simply put, The inside of the open source system (Darwin) and user interface (Aqua) closed source. This gives users a slick developer experience and the, geek, techie all options at their discretion to use the system.

If you have a Mac you can see many open source programs installeren.Deze found on the website Apple, but also through projects like Fink and Macports.
If you are a developer, the Apple open source pagina a good starting point to explore all possibilities.
My favorite open source programs for the Mac Open Office and Gimp (See the screenshots).
